Three ways out of the cell block

Dig to Escape is a prison break on Roblox — free, 14 inmates a server, closing in on 600 million visits. Every run starts the same: a cell, a spoon, a soft floor under the carpet, and a guard who walks the halls at night. What changes is which escape you are working toward.

Escape routeEntry costTypical clearBadge holders (Oct 2026)
Mineshaft ending150 Rolls of tools30–60 min~13.9M
Janitor ending200 Rolls (keycard)20–40 min~1.47M
Rooftops ending300 Rolls (card + crowbar)30–60 min~548K

The mineshaft is the route the game nudges you down: dig, sell, upgrade, repeat until you outrun the guard through the tunnel below. The other two are quicker once you can shop for them — a keycard opens the janitor route, and a crowbar gets you up to the roof.

The loop, in one paragraph

Dig the floor, sell what it turns up to the seller inmate for Rolls — the toilet-paper currency — and spend them on the next shovel before the next layer. Top up energy with trader food and the free daily lunch, and shut your cell door before the guard's night rounds. That loop is the whole early game.
